Ranveer
Singh's "Bajirao Mastani" continues to dominate the domestic box office
market. But, theatrical run of Shah Rukh Khan's "Dilwale" has almost
ended in India.
Bajirao Mastani
Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film has entered its fourth week at the
theatres and still, the film is doing better than other releases.
"Bajirao Mastani" earned Rs 6.45 crore net income from its fourth
weekend run. The 24-day net box office collection of "Bajirao Mastani"
stands at Rs 177.35 crore.
"#BajiraoMastani crosses ₹ 175 cr mark. [Week 4] Fri 1.40 cr, Sat
2.35 cr, Sun 2.70 cr. Total: ₹ 177.35 cr. India biz. SUPERB!" trade
analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.
Ranveer, Deepika Padukone and
Priyanka Chopra starrer "Bajirao Mastani" has achieved a milestone at
the domestic box office. The film has taken its 24-day gross income to
over Rs 250 crore mark. This is Ranveer's first film to earn more than
Rs 250 crore from just Indian circuits.
And at the worldwide box office, the film will achieve a milestone
soon. The gross worldwide box office income of "Bajirao Mastani" stands
at Rs 342 crore, according to Bollywood Hungama.
The film requires just Rs 8 crore more to cross the Rs 350 crore mark
and by adding the latest overseas box office figure, the film will
achieve the target before the end of its fourth week run.
Dilwale
Shah Rukh's film domestic run has almost come to an end, but one
cannot deny the fact that the film is performing extremely well in the
international market. The Rohit Shetty directorial has earned
approximately Rs 1.25 crore in its fourth weekend in India, according to
Box Office India.
The film is nearing the Rs 150 crore mark at the domestic box office
with its net income, which is low considering the film features Shah
Rukh.
However, at the worldwide box office,
the gross income of the film is approaching the Rs 400 crore mark,
thanks to its overseas earnings. The gross domestic box office earnings
of "Dilwale" is Rs 210 crore approximate, while the worldwide box office
income of "Dilwale" is Rs 362.86 crore.
