Actor Amitabh Bachchan shared the Best Actor award (male) with Ranveer Singh at the Star Screen Awards 2016, which were held in Mumbai on January 8.
Big B received the award for Piku while Ranveer was adjudged as the best actor for his spectacular work in Bajirao Mastani.
The award for the Best Actor in the female category went to Deepika Padukone for her stunning performance in Piku.
Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor received the Life Time Achievement award.
Meanwhile, the Popular Choice award in the male and female categories went to Shah Rukh Khan for Dilwale, and Deepika for Bajirao Mastani respectively.
Irrfan Khan received the Jury Choice Best Actor (Male) award and Kalki Koechlin won the Jury Choice Best Actor (Female) award.
Bollywood celebrities, including Sonam Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Subhash Ghai, Rekha and Shabana Azmi, attended the ceremony.

Ranveer Singh is playing the role of Peshwa Bajirao, Deepika Padukone as Mastani and Priyanka Chopra as Kashibai. The set of the comedy show has been designed in a very royal way and the comedians literally get up like the leading movie stars.
It will be interesting to see Gutthi as Mastani and Palak as Kashibai. The role of Ranveer Singh will be probably played by Kapil Sharma.
